FileCentral for iPhone ($2.99 → Free, 7.4 MB): The ultimate document reading, converting, and printing app for your iPhone and iPod touch.

You’re able to transfer files to and from FileCentral via iTunes File Sharing or your favorite cloud service. They’re all here, including Box.net, Dropbox, Google Docs, and iCloud. You’re then able to view all kinds of different files, convert them into PDFs, and even wirelessly print them to any printer via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, or 4G. The app also includes passcode protection, multi-user support, and the ability to zip and unzip files.

You’re able to import any photo from your library or take a new one from within the app. You’re then able to add layer upon layer of textures, lens flares, effects, light leaks, gradients, and colors. All layers are fully adjustable, allowing you to create that perfect photo. You’re also able to erase parts of layers to focus on specific areas of your photo. The app also includes the ability to create your own textures, blur photos, create favorites, and share your creations via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or email.

Calculator³ ($0.99 → Free, 1.7 MB): A beast of a calculator app.

Calculator³ is actually three calculators in one: scientific, graphing, and programmer. You’re able to access the three different calculators by swiping left and right across the screen. The scientific calculator supports decimal and negative non-integer factorials, decimal combinations and permutations, and parenthesis. The graphing calculator supports all of the features in the scientific calculator while providing a workspace for manually inputting and evaluating math equations. It’s also able to plot 2-D graphs using adaptive sampling routine. The programmer calculator supports 64-bit bitwise calculations, Unicode and ASCII characters, and DEC, OCT, and HEX number systems. The app is able to operate in portrait or landscape orientation as well.

The top portion of the screen displays today’s date, the week of the year, sunrise and sunset times, and the numbers of days passed and left in the year. The lower portion includes all of the historical events and major holidays that occurred on this day. If you tap and hold on an event or holiday, you can share it via Twitter, Facebook, SMS, or email.

Four: The Space Fight ($0.99 → Free, 42.0 MB): A colorful space shooter than can be played with up to four players on the same iPad.

You’re able to control your spaceship via an on-screen joystick and fire its two weapons via a single button on the right. In career mode, your job is to complete objectives to move on to the next level. In all other modes, your job is to wipe out your opponent. The game includes four spaceships to choose from, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

You’re able to rotate your device to pour the liquid, use your fingers to splash it around, or build structures to funnel it. The game includes six types of challenges, 90 levels, and a sandbox mode where you can get really creative. You can also record your masterpieces and share them via YouTube.
