Juggle: Pocket Machine ($0.99 → Free, 10.4 MB): This juggling machine fits right into your pocket, allowing you to work on your hand-eye coordination wherever you go. The game features three modes, all of which require you to keep the colored disks in the air by bouncing them off your laser bumper. Disks are constantly being added to the mix, so try to keep as many on the screen as possible to earn bonus points. The game also includes a fantastic retro-inspired look, and leaderboards via Game Center.

Typic Pro – Text and Design Photo Editor ($0.99 → Free, 31.5 MB): Add a little flare to your favorite photos with this effects and captioning app. You’re able to import any photo from your library or snap a new one in-app. Typic Pro will then take you step-by-step through the editing process. You can apply filters, caption your photo with different fonts and colors, and add a frame and other design elements. You’re able to share your unique creation via Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. Additional fonts, design elements, and frames are available via in-app purchase.

Toontastic Jr. Shrek ($2.99 → Free, 236.2 MB): Your child can unleash their creative talents with this animation app. They’re able to create their own Shrek movie by first choosing a beginning, middle, and ending for their story. They can then animate the characters just like a puppet show while also recording their own voice. When they’re finished, they can watch their entire movie come together. The app includes 12 classic Shrek scenes to choose from, and the ability to share the creation process with a friend via StoryShare.

Stumpy’s Alphabet Dinner ($0.99 → Free, 64.5 MB): Stumpy and Lexie are here to help your little ones learn all about letters and shapes. A word will appear across the top of the screen, and your child must feed Stumpy each letter that appears on his belly. Letters will be sounded out as they are fed to Stumpy. Your child can also hang out with Lexie and feed her the shapes that she loves so much. The app includes a hard mode, and a picnic basket full of letters.

Don’t Run With a Plasma Sword ($0.99 → Free, 73.8 MB): You’ll actually see the good in running with a plasma sword in this distance game featuring a sci-fi story and RPG elements. Run through all kinds of colorful alien environments avoiding obstacles by jumping over and sliding under them, and slice up aliens with your plasma sword to complete each level. The game includes an experience point system, allowing you to upgrade your character in a variety of ways. It also includes two modes, five environments, boss battles, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

This productivity app can help instructional designers, trainers, and performance consultants build a better training program. It leverages ANSWER, Allen Communication’s rapid needs assessment methodology, to ensure that your instructional strategies align with your organization’s unique needs and opportunities. You’re able to create as many new projects as necessary, and you can add additional questions to individualize your projects. The Design section allows you to build high-level design flowcharts, and jot down notes and sketch out ideas. The app also includes the ability to export projects and flowcharts via email or iTunes File Sharing.
